From 29-30 April, independent auditors visited Urenco Deutschland for the annual Quality (ISO9001), Environment (ISO14001) and IT (ISO27001) Audits. All teams at the site were credited for their effective management and their high standards.
Then, from 4-5 June, auditors visited Urenco Deutschland again and found the Eco-Management and Audit Scheme to be of a high standard.
This scheme was developed within the EU as a tool to help companies to continuously monitor and improve their environmental standards. The auditors were pleased with the site’s particular willingness to improve further.
As a result, the sign on the entrance gate at Urenco Deutschland with the flying whale and green fin can remain for at least another year; showing not only employees, but also guests and visitors, their amazing achievements in this field over the last year.
