Reporting to the Business Development Project Manager, you will be responsible for evaluating potential business opportunities and provide expertise in bringing projects to fruition as well as monitoring and driving associated process and activities.
The main areas of responsibility will include:
Carrying out analytical assessment of business opportunities, including market analysis, research, analyse and package financial and non-financial information to help the company make well informed decisions
Administering internal Urenco processes associated with bringing new business opportunities to fruition including support with prioritisation, resource allocation plans and monitoring overall portfolio
Monitoring general market dynamics and business development activities and prepare reports accordingly
Working closely with BD Managers in the preparation of information concerning new business opportunities
Completing modelling including but not limited to, discounted cash flows, IRR, ROIC etc. for various “what if” scenarios and the overall impact to the company
Supporting project delivery and drive projects forward.
We are now looking for an individual who can make a difference and add value to our existing team. The following skills and experience will provide an indication of the types of team players we are looking for:
Commercial, economics or financial background (desirable) with analytical aptitude (essential)
Educated to degree level
Educated to Masters – desirable, however not essential
Project management qualification – desirable, however not essential
Conversant in business English and in the business language specific to role location
Experienced in performance reporting and tracking metrics
Competency in strategic and analytical thinking; theory and practice
Interpersonal and cross-cultural team-working and collaboration skills
This is a full time, permanent position which can be based in Capenhurst or Stoke Poges.
