We’re looking for a Senior Market Intelligence Analyst. Based at our Paddington HQ you’ll be the in-house specialist on our market and competitive environment that objectively represents relevant detailed insights to support in strategic decision making across the group and commercial strategy. You will be an ambassador for developing our intelligence network, collating and presenting our market fundamentals for core business and adjacencies to senior management, external industries, across our business functions and to our audit partners.

What you’ll do: (4-6 bullet pointed list of key responsibilities)

• Manages detailed and objective understanding of Urenco’s competitor, customers and supplier activities and data through our systems
• Lead analysis into adjacent market areas in support of strategic initiatives, research and development opportunities
• Collaboratively develop specialist in-house and objective knowledge on our core business market fundamentals, covering nuclear generation and the front-end nuclear fuel cycle
• Leads analysis into adjacent market areas in support of strategic initiatives, research and development opportunities
• Leads wide-reaching external data mining and exploration for relevant information and insights
• Oversees quality and functionality improvements in our market intelligence systems and processes in support of our stakeholders

What do you need to thrive in this role?

• Extensive experience in research, modelling and analysis of competitor and customer behaviour
• Experience in evaluating business models and interpreting financial data
• Economic and technical understanding of B2B industries
• Working experience of analytical roles ideally in nuclear, energy or similar industries
• Ability to take data and present it to senior stakeholders in a concise and effective manner
