Quality Engineer  (Construction / Civil)

We’re looking for a Quality Engineer Civil to join our team in Almelo. In this role, you will support, monitor, and inspect the construction process of new buildings to ensure facilities meet quality standards and comply with current legislation.

What you’ll do:

As a Quality Engineer Civil you will:

• Conduct regular quality controls and inspections during all stages of construction to ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
• Work closely with project teams and contractors to oversee daily construction activities.
• Be actively involved throughout the entire building and implementation phases of the project lifecycle.
• Interpret construction drawings and possess strong knowledge of building materials and techniques.
• Ensure Quality Control Plans (QCPs) are developed, implemented, maintained, and executed on schedule.
• Review and provide feedback on documentation from suppliers and contractors.
• Support and conduct internal and external (supplier) audits, assessments, and evaluations based on applicable standards.

What do you need to thrive in this role?

• A finished study on buildings techniques / civil.
• 3 - 5 years of experience as a Quality Engineer in the industrial construction sector.
• Strong background in construction site inspections, quality audits, and supplier quality checks.
• Experience in guiding civil/construction engineering projects from start to finish.
• Proven ability to develop and implement Quality Control Plans (QCPs).
• A proactive, self-driven approach and ability to work independently to deliver results.
• Fluency in both Dutch and English (spoken and written).
