Urenco is an international supplier of enrichment services and fuel cycle products for the civil nuclear industry, serving utility customers worldwide and providing low carbon electricity through nuclear generation.
This role will be part of the UTD which provides strategic direction for Urenco’s assets and research & development activities.
As part of the organizational change of UTD this role offers a great opportunity to grow with the business and implement a new workstream - Ensuring sustainable capabilities long term to design & engineer new plants for future business by managing training & education programs, & defining succession planning schedule etc.
Working within the newly established Urenco Medical Isotopes business unit and reporting to the Head of Medical Isotopes the Business & Commercial Analyst will assist in the successful execution of UMI strategy through active participation in scoping new opportunities, projects, collaborations and partnerships. The main areas of responsibility will include:
To support the Head of Medical Isotopes in executing the strategy and vision of UMI
Develop business opportunities related to UMI through data collection and effective collaboration with both internal and external partners to shape opportunities into proposals.
Support the build of business cases to include epidemiology and patient flow, standard of care, medical needs, competitive landscape, product profiling, pricing analysis, market share and uptake, commercialisation costs amongst others.
Close collaboration with Urenco BD, Strategy, Finance and R&D functions to support UMI initiatives.
Capture and maintain the market dynamics for Medical Isotopes via preferred data partners, supporting the analysis and presentation of the market.
Commercial analysis of UMI opportunities through the support of P&L reviews & economic viability assessments such as but not limited to ROI’s, IRR, NPV etc.
Support the Head of UMI with the production of proposals concerning new business opportunities for presentation as well as other adhoc support such as M&A analysis, JV proposals and discussions
Organise the data required for internal updates and meetings.
Act as a source of expertise available to support and drive projects forward.

Degree Level educated
Suitable experience in pharmaceutical industry and experience in the appraisal of pharmaceutical innovations
Commercial, economics or financial background with analytical aptitude
Proven experience with performance reporting and tracking metrics
Expertise in conceptual and scenario modelling, research methodologies and data analysis
Experience of project management and execution
Strong presentation and communication skills
