The NFE provides an opportunity to visit advanced operating nuclear fuel cycle facilities to gain experiential understanding in facility operations, nuclear materials management, and applied material safeguards. Their visit to Almelo was part of a European tour with visits to facilities in Germany, Belgium and Switzerland.
