Urenco operates across four countries, combining international reach with local expertise to support reliable, low-carbon nuclear fuel supply.


Our facilities in the UK, the Netherlands, Germany and the United States enable us to deliver enrichment and related services at scale, while operating to the highest standards of safety, security and sustainability. This global footprint strengthens resilience in the nuclear fuel cycle and allows us to meet the evolving needs of customers worldwide.

Our locations

Germany

Our German enrichment facility is located in Gronau. Urenco Technology Group, responsible for enhancing the operation of Urenco’s centrifuge technology, is also based here.

Netherlands

Our Dutch enrichment facility is located in Almelo. Our isotopes business is also based here, which provides services and products for the medical, research and industrial purposes.

UK

Our UK enrichment facility is located in Capenhurst. Our nuclear stewardship teams and facilities are also based here, alongside our advanced fuels facility, which is currently under construction. Our Head office is based in London and we have satellite office near Warrington.

USA

Our US enrichment facility is located in Eunice, New Mexico. It is the only commercial enrichment facility operating in the US. We also have our sales office located in Arlington, Virginia.
