Each year, UUSA designs, builds, and furnishes a playhouse for CASA of Lea County to raffle off at the Lea County Fair and Rodeo. This year, the playhouse was designed to resemble a camper.
CASA does valuable work in our local community and strives to make Lea County a safer environment for our communities’ abused and neglected children through highly trained volunteer advocacy and other child centered programs.
“We’re glad to be able to support such an amazing organization,” shared UUSA’s President and CEO, Karen Fili. “By contributing this playhouse, we are able to support one of the many charitable organizations who do so much for our local communities.”
This year’s winner was Cali Devlin and the proceeds from the playhouse raffle were over $6,000!
