Graduate positions
While our Graduate Engineering Programme forms our main annual intake at our Capenhurst site, we also offer graduate and entry level roles in areas such as Computer Science, Safety Case and other business areas. These roles are advertised as and when the business requires them, so application windows may vary throughout the year.
To avoid missing out, we encourage you to keep an eye on our careers site and register your interest via the form on this page so we can notify you when suitable opportunities arise.

Entry requirements and what we look for
Our graduate roles are aimed at individuals who have completed, or are on track to complete, a bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a relevant subject, typically with a minimum 2:1 classification.
Beyond academic achievement, we’re looking for graduates who are curious, motivated and keen to learn, with a genuine interest in developing their skills in a technical, highly regulated environment.
You do not need prior nuclear experience, but you should be willing to take responsibility, work collaboratively, and approach your work with professionalism and integrity.

Energus Nuclear Graduate Programme
We also work in partnership with the Energus Nuclear Graduate Programme. Graduates on this programme may have the opportunity to complete secondments at Urenco, gaining experience in their chosen discipline within our business.
If you are currently on the Nuclear Graduate Programme and would like to explore a secondment opportunity with us, please contact our Early Careers team at early.careers@urenco.com to discuss this further.
