Urenco USA Recognized as Largest Donor to Lea County United Way for 17th Year
At last week’s Annual United Way Evening of Inspired Giving, Urenco USA was honored as the Largest Donor to the Lea County United Way for the 17th consecutive year. Lisa Hardison, Head of Community Relations, accepted the award (pictured).
Each year, Urenco USA employees generously contribute through payroll deductions to support over two dozen nonprofit organizations serving our communities. Urenco then amplifies the impact by matching, dollar-for-dollar, those who give 2X their fair share (2 hours of pay per month). This money directly supports our neighbors experiencing food insecurity and homelessness, victims of domestic violence, children in foster care, education, mental health care and counseling for veterans and children, and creating meaningful opportunities for adults with disabilities. Employees may also designate contributions to the Andrews United Way, where UUSA is the largest financial supporter.
Thank you to our employees for your continued commitment to making a difference!
