NPROXX scoops prestigious innovation award

13 November 2020

NPROXX has been awarded the ‘2020 AC2 Innovation Prize, District of Aachen’ for the development of carbon fibre high pressure storage vessels for gaseous hydrogen storage.

NPROXX is a subsidiary of Urenco’s joint venture Enrichment Technology Company (ETC), and both NPROXX and ETC are focussed on technological advancement.

Weight and product quality are what set NPROXX’s storage vessels apart from conventional products. As a result, they are ideally suited for future vehicle production and transport solutions. NPROXX is currently working on expanding its manufacturing capacity.

Dr. Rainer vor dem Esche, Managing Director of NPROXX (pictured), said: “We are very proud to have been awarded this prize. The mobility of the future has begun! Our region is at the forefront. We, as NPROXX, would like to do our part with our storage solutions. We see this prize as motivation for the future, but also as appreciation for the work we have done."
