Urenco comment on UK’s Advanced Nuclear Framework announcement
04 February 2026 Global NewsToday, the UK Government has published two papers concerning civil nuclear energy, the Advanced Nuclear Framework and its Statement on Civil Nuclear Fuel.
The framework aims to stimulate private investment in nuclear technologies, such as advanced nuclear reactors, which could power AI data centres and provide clean energy solutions to industries.
The Statement sets out requirements for uranium-based fuels, of which Urenco is a supplier.
