Marking 35 years of impact at Urenco Isotopes
28 April 2026 Global Urenco Stable IsotopesIn 1991, Urenco Isotopes sold its first enriched isotope - xenon. This marked the beginning of specialised isotope enrichment capabilities within the Urenco group.
Xenon136 was used for fundamental neutrino (particle) research. It was a modest beginning that has since grown into work with significant global value.
Over the past 35 years, Urenco Isotopes has built a strong track record grounded in technical expertise, precision and operational discipline. Starting from a single isotope application, the organisation has continued to develop its capabilities to support a range of uses worldwide.
