Support the Global and Site Procurement Organizations in the development of a Professional Procurement Function and the execution of local and global strategies. Work with relevant customers/stakeholders and Procurement Management in the development and execution of the customer aligned and integrated category plan(s).
Act as department subject matter expert (SME) on Sourcing, Evaluation, Negotiation, Category Management, and Supplier Relationship Management.
Identify and direct supplier visits and surveillances to evaluate potential and existing suppliers and ensure they comply with URENCO procedures and policies, fostering mutually rewarding relationships.
Demonstrate and teach best and effective practices in all areas of responsibilities to promote first-rate procurement and supply chain practices.
Create and manage departmental plans for the development and management of internal relationships to optimize URENCO’s external legal, business, and financial positions.
Lead in the development of effective and measurable supplier management methods and performance metrics and ensure they are applied to all high risk and / or high value suppliers through supplier management programs.
Develop, review, negotiate, execute, manage, and document significant and complex contracts and contract amendments in accordance with URENCO’s policies and procedures to drive value in a highly regulated nuclear environment.
Support discussions with team members and cross functional teams to resolve problems effectively and agree to appropriate contract changes by applying effective performance metrics.
Maintain outstanding customer engagement through Measures of Success utilization.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Business or related discipline and five to seven years of related work experience. They must be able to maintain a Certified Purchasing Manager (C.P.M.), a Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM), or a Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) Certification.
