Other visitors boarded an electrical mini train that took them to the logistics department, and tours of the Urenco Stable Isotopes facility were also held for the first time ever. Elsewhere, there were STEM activities for children and a presentation from the net zero working group explaining how Almelo contributes to a low carbon society. In May, our Dutch site opened to the general public for the first time since 2019 (before the pandemic).
