Central Technology Group (CTG)
The Central Technology Group (CTG) was formed in early 2007. The CTG has two main purposes:
- to implement “best practices” for enrichment plant operations
- to develop a common URENCO design for centrifuge enrichment plants and related plants.
CTG is currently heavily involved with the design of the National Enrichment Facility in the US and the UF6 deconversion plant in the UK. CTG is also responsible for promoting ‘best practice’ for technology and plant operations across the URENCO Group.
The Central Technology Group is located in Bad Bentheim Germany .
Chris Chater, Executive Director, Technology and Operations, heads the CTG team, which consists of 15 employees with English, German and Dutch nationalities.
