New Chief Financial Officer for the URENCO Group

Mr Friso van Oranje took up the position of Chief Financial Officer for the URENCO Group on 1 April 2011, having joined the company on 1 January 2011. He is based at URENCO’s UK Head Office.

Mr van Oranje joins URENCO from Wolfensohn & Company where he held the position of Managing Director. Prior to Wolfensohn, Mr van Oranje worked at McKinsey & Company in Amsterdam and Goldman Sachs in London where he was Vice President in the Investment Banking Division.

Mr van Oranje succeeded Mr Bart Le Blanc, who retired from his position on 31 March 2011. Mr Le Blanc will continue as Chairman of Enrichment Technology Company (ETC), the joint venture between URENCO and Areva responsible for the supply of gas centrifuge technology.
