LTA Milestone at Almelo

As one of URENCO’s five core Values, Safety is of the utmost importance.
In reflection of this, on 9 January 2010, URENCO’s site at Almelo in the Netherlands reached an historic milestone of 1,500 days without a lost time accident (LTA). This is the longest period of time without an LTA at Almelo since LTA's were first registered, demonstrating the Group’s commitment to safety.
In honour of this milestone and as part of URENCO’s ongoing Corporate Responsibility strategy, the sum of €2,000 will be donated to a local charity.
