LES achieves major milestone

Eunice, New Mexico - On 24 September 2009 a major milestone was achieved at the National Enrichment Facility with the successful installation of first centrifuge in the Pete V. Domenici Separations Building Module.
Chief Operating Officer/Chief Nuclear Officer Gregory Smith commented, “This monumental milestone is testament to the effort and dedication of our team. I would like to take the opportunity to thank all those involved, for their ongoing commitment and personal contribution to the continued progress of this major project”.
LES, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of URENCO, Ltd. is constructing the National Enrichment Facility near Eunice, New Mexico. The National Enrichment Facility LES will operate the nation’s most efficient and advanced uranium enrichment facility and will provide a secure domestic enrichment supply source to US nuclear energy companies.
