Mr Richard Nourse is appointed to the URENCO Board
URENCO Limited is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Richard Nourse as a non-Executive Director to the URENCO Board as from 1 January, 2009.
Mr Nourse replaces Mr Mike Parker who resigned from the URENCO Board as at 1 January, 2009 after serving more than 5 years for URENCO in his role as non-Executive Director. Appreciation and thanks are forwarded to Mr Mike Parker for his contribution to the success of the URENCO Group.
Mr Nourse is a Director of the Shareholder Executive (part of BERR) and of Enrichment Holdings Limited, the company through which the British Government holds its shareholding in URENCO. Until 2007, he held senior positions at Merrill Lynch, including Head of the EMEA Energy and Power Team. During his time at Merrill Lynch, Mr Nourse worked on a wide range of acquisitions, divestments and capital raisings for companies across the European energy, utility and waste sectors. Mr Nourse commenced his career in the City over 20 years ago with Morgan Grenfell.
